Jr Alvarez

Jr Alvarez joined IHS as a Research and Data Assistant in 2025. He supports the Institute's various research initiatives through data organization, validation, and visualization.

Jr is a combined-degree student at DePaul University earning his BA in Geography with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems and his MA in Sustainable Urban Development. He is interested in community development and equitable solutions to food injustice and housing issues. Outside of work, he likes going to concerts, playing board games, and making soup.
